The dumbest Kid - A Motivational Story

The dumbest Kid....
A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer, "This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it to you."
The barber puts a 5 coins in one hand and a 2 coins in
the other,
then calls the boy over and asks, "Which do you want,
son?"
The boy takes the 2 coins and leaves.
"What did I tell you?"
said the barber. "That kid never learns!"
Later, when the customer leaves,
he sees the same young boy
coming out of the ice cream store. "Hey, son! May I ask you a
question?
Why did you take 2 coins instead of 5 coins?"
The boy licked his cone and replied, "Because THE DAY I TAKE THE 5 Rs
COIN, THE GAME IS OVER."
Moral of the Story: When you think the other person is dumb, you are making a fool of yourself.

Motivational Story For Hard Times

Once, a dull and exhausted by the illnesses and burdens of life peasant came to the wise man. He sat in front of the wise man, who gave him a social and warm smile, and breathed out heavily letting out a wave of mourning. He began complaining about his life, that he has a hard burden that he doesn’t see a bright daylight at all, it’s like one problem falls on his head or the other – they have twisted him between the grindstones so much that he can’t even breathe in some fresh air. Later, he began blaming all of his relatives, who, in his opinion, were guilty for his misfortunes, whether the circumstances didn’t turn out right for him, or something else.

The wise man listened to him in silence, and when the peasant once again contritely inquired the wise man, why is it so unfair, what should he do and how to find peace, the wise man got up from his seat and invited the peasant to follow him.

They came out of the hut and went to a lakeside, which was not far away and where from time to time flying fishes were jumping, trotting fast above the surface, catching food.

The wise man led the peasant to the lakeside and said to him, “You see the smoothness of the lake? The depths are full with life. There are fishes that always stay in water, and if suddenly the lake got polluted, they couldn’t see further their own nose, they would hardly recognise where the source of the pollution was, and they would keep swimming in circles. And there are also fishes that got wings and they can rise above the water of the lake, looking at it from the heights of their flight. So this is my advice: instead of complaining about your life, come to this lakeside from time to time, watch the flying fishes and try to understand what I wanted to say to you.”

Don't Judge Without Knowing Real Story- A Motivational Story

My boss drove a luxury car everyday and it was my duty to greet him and to open the gates for him, as I worked as a watchman in his villa.
But he never responded back to my greetings.
One day he saw me opening the garbage bags outside the villa in search for any left over food. But, as usual he never even looked at me, it was like as if he never saw anything!
The very next day I saw a paper bag at the same place, but it was clean and the food inside was covered well. It was fresh and good food like someone had just brought it from the supermarket.
I didn't bother as to where it came from, I just took the paper bag and I was so happy about it.
Every day I found this paper bag at the same place with fresh vegetables and all that we needed for home. This became my daily routine. I was eating and sharing this food with my wife and kids.
I was wondering who this fool could be?! To forget his paper bag full of fresh food everyday.
One day there was a big problem in the villa and I was told that my boss has died.
There were too many guests coming to the villa that day and I didn't get any food that day, so I thought that one of the guests must have taken it.
But the same thing happened the 2nd day, the 3rd day and the 4th day.
It went on like this for a few weeks and I found it difficult to provide food for my family, so I decided to ask the wife of my boss for a raise in my salary or else I would quit my job as a watchman.
After I told her, she was shocked, and asked me, how come u never complained about your salary for the last 2 years? And why is this salary not enough for you now?!
I gave her so many excuses but she was never convinced!
Finally in the end, I decided to tell her the truth, I told her the entire story of the bag of groceries, and as to how it was my daily provision..
She then asked me as to when this stopped? I told her after the death of her husband. And then I realised that I stopped seeing the paper bag immediately after the death of my boss.
Why didn't I ever think of this before? That it was my boss who was providing this for me?
I guess it was because I never thought that a person who never replied to my greetings could ever be this generous!
His wife started to cry and I told her to please stop crying and that I'm really sorry that I asked for a raise, I didn't know that it was your husband who was providing me with the meals, il remain as a watchman and be happy to provide my service.
His wife told me, I'm crying bcoz I've finally found the 7th person my husband was giving this bag full of food. I knew my husband was giving 7 people everyday, I had already found the 6 people, and all these days I was searching for the 7th person. And today I found out.
From that day onwards, I started to receive the bag full of food again, bt this time his son was bringing it to my house and giving it to my hand.
But whenever I thanked him, he never replied! Just like his dad!
One day, I told him THANK YOU in a very loud voice! He replied back to me to please not be offended when he doesn't reply, because he has a hearing problem, just like his dad!
May God forgive us all, for we have all, as humans, judged another person without knowing the real story behind their actions..
May God forgive us all and guide us towards the right path in life

Dumb Boy Left All Speechless By His Silent Words of Kindness - A Must Read Motivational Story

I was waiting at the bus-stop one evening for my usual 4 o'clock ride. After a long and exhausting day, I generally sub-consciously think of the refreshing shower with cold water once I reach home. Since that was a Friday evening I was thinking about the weekend movie plans with friends.
Then I saw him. He looked like a well fed and pampered adolescent boy like me. He was also dressed like a boy from a well-off family. He was holding out a polythene cover and trying to convey something through hand gestures to a man standing next to me who looked like he was in his early forties. The man who although looked confused fetched out an Rs 10 note from his pocket and placed it in the polythene bag. I understood that the boy could not speak.
Then the boy approached me with a smile. He pointed at something on the other side of the road and then held out the bag. I could see some Rs 10 and Rs 20 notes in the bag. Although I could not understand what he was trying to say or what he was pointing to, I thought he must have some genuine reason for asking money. I too dropped in a Rs 20 note. He thanked me with a smile and went on to the next person. Almost everyone present there gave him a 10 or 20 because he looked decent and I observed there were only 10's and 20's in the bag.
He thanked everyone with the same smile. He then crossed the road. All this while everyone was observing him. He then fetched out an Rs 20 from his pocket, put it in the bag and gave the bag to a physically disadvantaged woman sitting on the foot path beside the bus-stop on the opposite side of the road. Even from the distance I could see that her face lit up with absolute gratitude. And then he walked away gracefully.
I was absolutely dumbstruck. So were the people around me. These people who would've at the most given her 1 or 2 rupee coins gave the boy at least 10 rupees. And as for me I may not even have acknowledged her presence and may have been engrossed in my own thoughts. That actions of the boy put every one of us present there to shame and guilty of the way we treat others who are less advantageous than us. I was still deep in my thoughts when my bus came. And I boarded it with tears rolling down my cheeks and a smile on my lips.
At that moment itself I knew that his endearing smile and her glinting eyes would forever be etched in my memory and would never let me lose hope in humanity.
